Obituary For Angelo Joseph Pipitone

Angelo Joseph Pipitone, 44, of Rockford passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 15, 2022. He was born November 10, 1977, in Rockford, the son of Anthony Pipitone and Maureen Pipitone (Burke). Angelo was a graduate of Boylan Catholic High School, Class of 96 and he was a member of the Laborers Union Local 32. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and was an avid Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan. He adored all his nieces and nephews. Angelo wore his heart on his sleeve, and he loved deeply. He was kind to everyone and had pure love for his family and friends. Survivors include his mother, Maureen Pipitone. Father, Anthony (Anna) Pipitone. Brothers, Anthony (Sarah), Patrick (Lori), Paul (Gloria Sigala), Andrew (Julie). Nieces and nephews, Michaela, AJ, Hannah, Ryan, Ethan, and Macy. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents and stepfather Thomas Hunt.

Memorial Service at 12 pm Saturday, April 23, 2022, in Tony Gasparini Chapel, 6825 Weaver Road, Rockford. Memorial visitation from 10 am until 11:45 Saturday in the Funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be established by the family.

    So sorry to hear about pip!! He was a good friend and coworker. He worked for me at RBT. We gave him the name rookie. He was always making me laugh and we stayed in touch threw out the years. I will miss him until we meet again. Sorry for your loss!

    I went to school with Ang since kindergarten at Walker School through Boylan and have many memories of him. Always popping into Neihan Martin on my shifts to say hello! To Maureen and family my deepest condolences.
