Barbara J. Waage 87 of Rockford passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, in her home. She was born February 8, 1936, in Rockford, the daughter of Henry and Nettie Oij. She married Arleigh Waage on June 7, 1958, in Rockford. She enjoyed playing cards, painting, and spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her granddaughter Kristie (Jordan) Miller, Sister-in-law Paula Oij, Niece Debbie Hollenkamp, and Nephew Lance Oij. Predeceased by her husband Arleigh. Daughter, Suzanne Mullins, and Brothers, Dale and Richard Oij.
