Gerald C. Cox 72 of Rockford and Janesville passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 in Swedish American Hospital. He was born May 4, 1946 in Rockford, the son of Robert and Florence Cox of Byron. He graduated from Boylan High School. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. He managed many restaurants but was a manager of KFC for most of his career.

Survivors include his two Daughters Amy (John) Nyenhuis and Jenny Roser. Two grandchildren, Chance and Cassidy Roser. Brothers, Dave (Karen) Cox and Jim (Carol) Cox. Predeceased by his parents and his sister Mary Schnorr.
