Obituary For John DiGiovanni
John DiGiovanni of Rockford passed away February 23, 2020 in Rockford. He was born September 5, 1937 in Rockford. The son of Anthony and Marge DiGiovanni. John served in the US Navy. He was a Plumber for for over 40 years and became an inspector for Winnebago County. He married Patricia Campoli June 8, 1963. His hobbies were trap shooting and watching car racing. He was a member of Kepotah Gun Club for over 30 years.
He is survived by His close friend and Brother-in-law, Dennis (Dena) Campoli. Two sons, Darrell (Tammy) and Brian. Three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Special Friends, Peggy and Bobby Divan, Nick Shutkus, Eddie “Jr” Mecum and Steve Kinkaid and all his friends at Kepotah Gun Club, His roommate at Amberwood, Jay Shutter. A special thank you to Amberwood and Hospice for their care.
Memorial Visitation will be Thursday March 12, 2020 from 5pm until 7pm in Tony Gasparini Funerals Chapel, 6825 Weaver Road, Rockford. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.

John: was quick to tell a joke or light up you smoke he'll have some good company as so many members of Kepotah club, have left for that trap house in the sky. Marshall,Benny,Oscar,Dale,Don,Gene.Roger, to name a few John will be missed God Bless and my deepest sympathy to his family Kepotah Member Dan Babcock
