Obituary For Raymond Edward Wawczak

Raymond Edward Wawczak of Rockford died peacefully on April 5, 2018. He was born November 22, 1929 in Chicago to Roman and Rose Wawczak, Raymond served our country honorably in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Geraldine, his loving children Warren (Pamela),Thomas (Julie), William (Bernadette) Wawczak, Marcia Klockowski and Robert (Diane) Wawczak, Ten Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren, Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Mass at 11am Friday April 13, 2018 in Holy Family Catholic Church 4401 Highcrest Road, Rockford with Father Phillip Kaim Officiating. Visitation from 9am until 10:45 Friday in the church. Cremation Rites to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.

    I didn't know Ray well at all - probably only spoke w/him a few times at Tom & Julie's wedding and maybe parties for Benjamin? But, I know he will be missed by all his family and friends.
