Funeral planning has been a family calling for 4 generations in the Gasparini Family. Like most Italian immigrants relocating to Rockford, Gasparini Funerals initially settled on the city’s south side, in the “Italian Neighborhood” of Rockford. The funeral home opened to serve the families with whom they shared faith and community.
Serving families since the 1920s, the Gasparini name carries on their tradition of caring, compassionate, and affordable funerals today with Tony Gasparini, great-grandson of the original owner.
Tony grew up in Rockford and attended St. Francis Consolidated grade schools, Boylan Central Catholic High School, Western Illinois University, and Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He and his wife Nicole have raised 3 boys in Rockford. With years of experience and a sense of duty to his family, you have all the experience, care, and amenities of the larger funeral homes without the outrageous expense.
Community involvement is a centerpiece of Tony’s life. He has served on the board of directors of the Red Cross, Shelter Care Ministries, and Veterans Drop-in Center. Tony also served as 2nd Ward Alderman in Rockford and is now currently the President of the Rockford Public Library Foundation Board.
