Anna Marie Goral, 79, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 5, 1945, in Rockford, Anna was the daughter of Nicholas and Concetta Enna. On April 4, 1964, she married James Goral, with whom she shared many beautiful years until his passing in 2022.

Anna dedicated many years of her life working at River Bluff Nursing Home, where her compassion and care was deeply appreciated. She was a member of the Venetian Club and Saint Bridget Parish. She loved to spend time outside, especially in her flower garden.

She is survived by her three daughters, Carole (Greg) Navarra, Judy (Ed) Taber, and Kathy (Todd) Hughes, as well as her two cherished grandchildren, Kennedy and Kasey Hughes. Anna also leaves behind two step-grandchildren, Jeremy (Crystal) Navarra and Stephanie (Corey) Erickson, along with five step-great-grandchildren: Harrison, Isabella, Madeline, Rylee, and Freyja. She is fondly remembered by her in-laws, Ed (Sue) Goral, Kathie (Jerry) D'Agostin, Mickey (Tami) Goral, and Debbie (Ed) Nunez, as well as her many dear lifelong friends including those in the “Potluck Group” and made countless cherished memories.

Anna was preceded in death by her loving parents, Nicholas and Concetta Enna , her brothers Vic and Joseph, her sister Margaret, and her beloved husband Jim.

Anna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of kindness, devotion, selfless service to others and love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.

A memorial visitation will take place from 10:00AM - 10:30AM. Anna's celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Saint Bridget Church, with Monsignor Stephen Knox officiating.
