Betty Ferraro, 94, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, in OSF St Anthony Hospital. She was born October 1, 1928, in Rockford, the daughter of August and Margaret Ferri. She married Larry Ferraro on October 26, 1947. Betty and Larry moved to Sarasota, FL, in 1976, moving back to Rockford in 2018.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Colleen Olsen, Alan (Debbie) Sommers, Larry (Nancy) Ferraro, Jay (Robyn) Ferraro, Jo Ferraro, and several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by: Husband (Larry), Parents (August and Margaret Ferri), sister and brother-in-law (Alice and JackSommers), brother and sister-in-law (Bob and Candi Ferri), nephew (MarkSommers), brother-in-law and sister-in-law (Sam and Lilly Ferraro).

Funeral mass at 11:00 am Monday, July 3, 2023, in St. Anthony Church, 1010 Ferguson Street. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Visitation from 10 am until Mass time Monday in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be established by the family.
