Obituary For Darlene Smith Bell

Darlene Smith Bell 56 of Rockford passed away Thursday March 30 in University of Wisconsin Medical Center. She was born March 27, 1967 in Rockford,IL. The daughter of Leavette Smith and Bonnie Brasher.

She worked as a hairdresser for many years, working at CJ’s Custom Cuts and Dukes and Lords, Many years at UPS. Darlene Loved horses and gardening. She took pride in her holiday celebrations and spending time with her family and animals. She also loved to attend live music bands and dancing was her way of freedom. She was loved by many and her laughter was contagious.

Survivors include her three daughters, Jaimie Bell, Dawn Bell and Leslie Bunch. Grandchildren, Antonio Rivas, and Janiya. Sister, Jennifer Smith and brother, Richard. Numerous niece’s nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, her daughter, Baby Heather Bunch. Sisters, Jean Troyke and Julie Crenshaw. Nephew, Christopher Parker. Celebration of life from 2pm until 4 pm with memorial service at 3:30 pm on Wednesday April 12th in Tony Gasparini Funeral Chapel 6825 Weaver Road, Rockford. Immediately Following the Celebration of life will be in The Navy Club from 4:30pm to 7:00pm April 12th 2324 Charles st. Rockford. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.

    Our sweet beautiful Niece, I have no words to tell you how much i am missing you. all our laughter, how proud you were of your daughters, and ohhhh how you loved you two grandchildren.
