Ellie was a wonderful and beautiful lady. Her and Bart were amazing people and wonderful parents to their two beautiful daughters, Lisa and Tami. Their immediate family and extended family are absolutely a joy to be a part of. It was very rare to see Ellie without a smile on her face. She put up a room with her presence. My heart truly goes out to Bart, her wonderful husband of 60 years, and her two daughters, Lisa and Tami, as well as her brother Tom. Ellie will forever be deeply missed. I will never forget being over at their house on Chateau, around Christmas time, and Ellie had made her amazing Italian chocolate cookies, and the glaze was drying on them, and Lisa said that I could have a couple, but to hurry up because Ellie was on her way back home. Ellie walked in the door, and I looked like a chipmunk with my mouth full of cookies. Lisa and I both laughed and I apologized to Ellie, and she laughed and said it was ok, and get out of the kitchen. I'll always love and miss her! She was truly a blessing on earth and now in heaven! With heartbroken sincerity, Shawn Collins.
