Obituary For MaryAnn Goral

MaryAnn Goral, 79, of Rockford, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, in Swedish American Hospital. She was born October 27, 1943, in Rockford, the daughter of Fred and Mary Vernetti. She went to St. Patrick and St. Anthony Schools, graduating from Muldoon High School in 1961. She married John Goral on February 8, 1964, in St. Anthony Church. She worked for Craft World, Ben Franklin, St Mary Gift Shop, and Maritime Museum in Manitowoc. She was a member of St Bernadette Church, St Bernadette Senior Association, and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary 15530.

Survivors include her husband, John. Children, Joseph and Kathryn Rose. Grandchildren, Angela, John, Sean, Chris, Fred, and Abigail. She was predeceased by her parents, grandparents, father and mother-in-law, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2023, in St Bernadette Catholic Church 2400 Bell Ave. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 9:00 AM until 9:45 Saturday in the church. Express online condolences at Tony Gasparini Funerals.
