Obituary For Peter Paluzzi

Peter Paluzzi 75 of Rockford passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born May 12, 1948, in Rockford, the son of James and Angeline Paluzzi. He graduated from West High School, Class of 68. Peter worked for the State of Illinois for 27 years, retiring in 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Karyn. Three children, Lori (Doug) Paluzzi-Fye, Deanna Paluzzi and Peter Paluzzi Jr. Grandchildren, Josh Graham, Paige (Adam) Belman, Catlin Paluzzi, Taylor Paluzzi, Baylee (Tim) Talty, Natalee Paluzzi and Pete Paluzzi. Great grandchildren, Kayden, Zayne, Addison, Braxton, Kaylanni, Xori, and King. Peter was an avid hunter, fisher, and trapshooter.

Memorial Visitation Tuesday, February 6 from 11:00 am until 2 pm in Tony Gasparini Funeral Chapel 6825 Weaver Road Rockford.

    Just found out that Pete passed, sorry i missed the services... what a great and funny guy... I remember riding motorcycles with him Bob Nordvall and the rest of the crew... One day my bike broke down and he and Bob came up with a make shift fix to get me home... definitely was the good old days.. and how I miss them! Rest in peace... 😇
