Richard D. Cunningham of Rockford passed away Monday November 8, 2021, in his home after a long illness. He was born July 19, 1951, in Rockford, the son of Darrell and Corrine Cunningham. He was a graduate of East High School class of 1970. He married Debra Randazzo-Seminerio on February 14, 2004. Richard was a Police Officer for the City of Rockford for 32 years, retiring in 2009.

Survivors include his wife, Debra. Daughter, Amy Cunningham. Step children, Connie Paris and Carl (Kate) Seminerio. Grandchildren, Guiliana and Gianni Paris, Stella, Audrey and Henry Seminerio. Brother, Bob (Pam) Cunningham. Sister, Sue (Tom) Golden. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.

Visitation from 4pm until 7pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021, in Tony Gasparini Funerals Chapel 6825 Weaver Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Serenity Hospice.
